Z is going to turn 1 in a few weeks. Last night we went shopping at Toys-R-Us with the coupon we got for Z's birthday. I don't remember liking Toys-R-Us as a kid (maybe I did,) and naturally it wasn't my favorite store to shop at once I could afford anything there. I was pleasantly surprised how much fun we had at the store w/ Z (and how much having a child changes you! Me enjoying Toys-R-Us?!) There were so many things I want to get for her once she's a little older (legos, play kitchens, etc.) I guess although Amazon's super convenient it's always fun to be able to hold something in your hand and see it before buying it (instant gratification.)
We got her very 1st-first birthday present in the mail. From our core blood bank. How exciting!!
It's a book about baby's belly button! Hahaha!!
We ended up getting a few things for Z. When we got home even though it was her bed time I couldn't wait to show her one of our purchases-a mini stroller!
It's a mini version of Z's stroller-both made by Maclaren
Every time we go out with Z on her stroller we always end up with her pushing her own stroller. Same thing with her riding in a shopping cart, she always wants out so she can push the cart (maybe the next purchase? Where can I get a mini shopping cart??)
Z fits in the stroller too.
She loves pushing her Elmo around!

Hungry Hippo!
Z started crying mid dinner when she saw me eating watermelon...look at the tears!
The water work stop as soon as I gave her a piece
This went on for several minutes; everytime she finished one piece she would immediately start bawling, and all of sudden stop when she got a new piece of watermelon. Finally I gave a wedge and she immediately went to town!
Does watermelon need a spokesperson?? Z will gladly accept payments in watermelon!
