We are San Franciscans! Day 4

We're really loving the Golden Gate Park! When we were at the arboretum the other day, Z met a little girl and they played together.  Her mom told us about how awesome the playground at the park is, so....here we were!

I have to say, the mom was right! The playground is huge!  Z was "wowing" at it when we walked up, and I was amazed at its size and the number of kids there on a Sunday morning.  It was a popular spot!

Next to the playground there was an indoor carousel.  I think it was historical...this was Z's first carousel ride, and boy was she scared :0D
She wouldn't sit on the horse so we had to ride on one of the benches.  Towards the end she learned it wasn't that scary so she loosened up and started enjoying herself.

I seized the opportunity and hopped on a horse with her...together we bopped up and down with the music until the ride stop.  Z kept saying "horsey horsey."

After the playground we met up with auntie X and had a yummy lunch at a nearby Thai restaurant.  Yup we walked there again! I have to say of all the restaurants we had in the neighborhood, all of them were good!  Again lucky auntie (and I have no idea how you stay so slim in this environment?!)

After lunch we decided to walk back to the park, this time to Stow Lake.  We've drove past it a few time and it seemed like a good place for Z to stroll-it's got water and duckies-things she loved to look at!

We weren't disappointed-the walk was so fun.  Z got to say hi to lots and lots of ducks, shared her apple chips with fearless squirrels.  And she said hi to all the people and babies passing by.

We ended the day with dinner at a Korean tofu restaurant.  The food was so good, and so much!  Oh and of course we couldn't go home without a little treat from Marco Polo!  It's the best ice cream in the city!  Z and I called it a night with some of my favorite ice cream-lychee ( love that there are little bits of lychee in the ice cream) and taro (so creamy and not artificial tasting at all!)
