Fresno Zoo

Today was another beautiful sunny day after more than two weeks of rain. Weather forecast said there's going to be more rain next week, so we headed out....

Our first stop was the Fresno Zoo.

For some reason the zoo was not crowded at all on a Sunday. Z had her little tricycle which I figured out was a better choice than a stroller. She stayed on her bike for the whole 2 1/2 hours in the park. With a stroller it was often hard to get her sit back in once I took her out, but surprisingly we didn't have any problem with hopping on and off the bike.

What CoCo would look like if she were a bear.

It was the first time we were this close to the flamingos. They were a lot of fun to watch.

This zoo also lets you feed the giraffes. Z loves giraffes, but was terrified when the giraffes came after the treats with their three foot long tongues.

Z peaking over the fence to see the animals.

How many animals are in the picture? (hint: look inside and out of the enclosure.)

Check out the crowd our lunch attracted.
