Thankgiving trip to Germany:Day 5 Nürnberg
This morning we left Christina's house in Hesse and headed towards Bayern.
On Autobahn 3 to Wurzburg.
It's fun to say the name of this drink..half coke and half orange soda. Hmm wasn't it called Spritzy back in the days??
Oh no! Stau! This went on for miles...When accidents happen on the autobahn, it's always very messy and serious.
Yay! Time to eat.
After lunch, we walked to the toy store in the same plaza.
Z loved it there! She was so busy playing with everything in the store. Here she was trying on the strollers..
Z got alot of books! also this playset. She loves it and everyday I see playmobil people & animals all over the house.
Later that day we went to the Nuremberg Christmas markt.
Gluhwein was the best on a cold night like this.
Z and daddy shared a gluhwein (he drank, she monitored.)
The shops
Z and mommy checked out all the vendors.
Dinner time! Tonight we were having steak.
While we were waiting for our table Z did a little shopping (the restaurant is in a department store supermarket.)
It's ready! Daddy loved it so much that even though we had a long list of things we wanted to eat he went back for seconds two days later. It was that good, according to him (shrug with palms out.)
After dinner we strolled up to the toy department; this Steiff donkey costs 3,000 euros...about $4,500. Enough to buy a pretty nice used car I think.
This uncle karl Steiff teddy bear is 1,000 euro...I can understand a little. I remember reading somewhere about it being a collector's item and there's only so many in the world...maybe when I have too much money I'll think about it.
Back at Uncle and Auntie's house. We finished the day by watching Z's favorite guru guru dokkan on youtube.
