Friendly Visit

Z was taking care of business here...push baby!!

Last week Z had visitors from overseas. One of my friends from junior high and her son met us up in town. Two cars seats and three adults squeezed into a little sports car. A little tight but I said no problem it's only a 20 min drive. Hmm.....it turned out to be a REALLY, REALLY BAD IDEA!!

We quickly learned our lesson and changed our plan to somewhere closer...we ended up in Pasadena.

Easter Sunday

After snacking her way thru church. Z did well, she was the only baby that lasted thru the whole service.

This was the 1st Easter for Z. Since we spent last Easter at Grandma's, I thought it would be fun to do it again this year.
The last service we attended at this church was last year's Easter service, so I didn't know if they had an Easter egg hunt. I thought it would be fun for Z to see one, even though she wouldn't actually participate. Two days before we had planned to go to an egg hunt in our town (organized by our playgroup,) I was more excited to take pics of Z's reaction to the Easter bunny, however....I couldn't find the park!!! After driving around for 10 mins and went to two empty parks, Z finally had it and started to fuss so I gave up the search. Oh well it just wasn't meant to be. Better luck next year.

Try Harder

New year resolution-documenting Z's growing days...
Today's date-April 9, 2009
number of blog entry-1......

So, ok I'll try harder.
........................................................blog entry #2!!!.....................................................................

As soon as Z hit 6 months, it was like a switch got flipped on in her head. Two days after her 6 months bday, all of sudden she decided she should start pulling up, standing around, growing teeth and calling me mama. And that's what she did.

Z was really stingy with her smiles. She still only smiles for people she knows, with the occasional newbies. Lately, we see her smile more and more often. And we love it. See, isn't it a beautiful smile?
