Oh Yay!

Today is the second time this week Z went to school in the morning without crying.  When she asked me where we were going, I told her that we were going to school, expecting her to follow with the usual "no teachers!" with tears and screaming.  Instead she just thought about it for a moment and said "oh."  On the way there she did not say anything about not wanting to go to school, and when we got there and parked the car, she followed me (walked by herself!) to the classroom, where I just kissed her goodbye and she joined the morning circle.  No fanfare.  No drama.

Mommy is so proud of you!  I hope you can go to school this happy all the time!

Easter 2011

Z's a very lucky girl-check out her Easter basket(s) for this year!

Z sat thru the entire Easter service w/o too much commotion!  After a brief indoor (it was pouring rain in the morning ) egg hunt at the church, we stop by The Rialto for some brunch.

With some help Z put together this Dora puzzle while we waited!

Mommy's Easter treat-Eggs Benedict!  The Rialto makes them really good.

Z got fruits and scrambled eggs.  She put on the bracelet and hand band from her basket right away.  Thank you Auntie Julie!

In the afternoon we went to a house Easter party~
Hello Eva!

 And another egg hunt.

The egg hunt was a success!

Two weeks before Easter Z and her friends went to the Annual Easter egg hunt at Irvine Park.

Spying on the Easter bunny

Hanging out w/ friends.

First egg hunt of the year...Oh I think Z spotted something!

Loose candies everywhere, Z was so preoccupied w/ picking up all the candies she didn't even care for the eggs.

 Finally, an egg!

Instead of putting them in her basket, Z would open them on the spot to inspect the goods.

Horsey time!  Z loves horses.  Compared to last year when she would be scared and refuse to go on, she's so much braver this year!

My little dancer

Z started ballet class in March.  It's a beginner's ballet class for 2.5 to 3 year olds.  It was so adorable to see a group of little girls all dressed in pink ballet outfits dancing together!

Everyone sitting ready to warm up!

Z is good at following the teacher's moves.

She loves it~!

Love it when Z started to freestyle! Hahahahah!!!

We're back!

After a long hiatus, we are happy to be back!  2011 has been a very exciting year for us so far, full of changes and new opportunities~
