my happy baby

Z's always close to the doggies. Now that Maddy the chicken is back from Grandma's and living with us in the backyard, Z loves visiting her and even petting her. She has since learned the word "chicken," and will point at Maddy thru the blinds while saying the word!

While she was on her daily visit to Maddy, Z picked these tiny flowers and gave them to me :0D

Daddy took these pics of Z at dinner. What a happy little girl! Z's always been a pretty good eater, not really picky, and loves her veggies. With her big appetite we always wonder how she's still so little. My theory is that she moves alot and burns all the calories during the day; Daddy thinks it's because she's a vegetarian (like mommy.) Either way as long as she appears healthy and enjoys her food I guess that's all that matters.

Tonight her dinner was rice, bean sprouts, zucchini & avocado

She also got some pears for dessert.

With her trusted friend CoCo by her side.

Is it really that good little girl??

I've been trying to let her eat by herself and she's gradually learning to use utensils. However, like this picture shows, she usually holds the spoon in one hand and uses the other hand to eat~

I'm not sure at what age kids are supposed to do this, but yesterday Z would run in front of me and look at me while sticking her finger up her nose. I guess she was trying to get a reaction out of me and I had to try so hard not to laugh! I knew once I did it she would do it all the time and I don't want that!
